Inspired by the seat arrangement and given surroundings in a tour bus and the idea of creating a small universe for two people.

It was a purely romantic try to communicate my feelings and the importance of specific situation through an object. 

On a long bus journey from Cologne to Paris, I had a conversation with someone who meant a great deal to me. We talked about the future and the nature of our relationship. The conversation ended with us agreeing not to see each other anymore. It was the emotional climax of a short, turbulent journey, and to show her how much it had meant to me, I wanted to create an object that captured that moment and yet kept a door open to relive it despite our agreement.

I really like how sincerely I cared when I designed this. It think it is always important to genuinely care when designing.
